CME on 24 Hours Ambulatory Blood Pressure Measurement
CME cum Workshop on 24 Hours Ambulatory Blood Pressure Measurement was organized by Department of Physiology on 7th July 2017 in LT-4 of college Block.
After Registration and Inauguration and lamp Lightening, Welcome address was delivered by Dean/Principal Prof Dr.P.JayaKumar.
Dr. J.L. Agarwal started the lecture session by talking about the present status of Hypertension and importance of ABPM for diagnosis and management of HTN. Then Dr.Sharad Jain discussed about the Principle and technical aspects of ABPM. After that Dr. Manisha Gupta delivered her talk about Indication for measurement of 24 hours ABPM, Then Dr.Sumit Garg discussed about detailed procedure, parameters and interpretation of parameters measured by ABPM.
After Lunch Break, Hands on workshop on ABPM with demonstration and discussion about interpretation of parameters measured by ABPM was conducted by Dr.J.L.Agarwal and Dr. Sumit Garg. Then the house was open for the questions by the delegates. CME Cum Workshop ended with distribution of certificates and then vote of thanks by Dr. Dayachand . CME was anchored by Dr.Rahul Sachan. CME was well attended by over 200 Faculty, PG and students and was greatly appreciated. U.P. Medical Council has awarded 4 credit hours to CME Cum Workshop.
