Infrastructure Facilities

Library

The Institute has a nice & impressive library where there is a cosy & healthy environment for reading & consulting. The library has a rich collection of books on all areas of medical science written by renowned national & international authors. Journals & Periodicals, Video Cassettes, Audio Cassettes & News Papers, Photocopiers, Computer unit with Printers are housed in the library of the Institute.

Residential Area

The casualty department of SIMS has a team of technical staff, doctors and nurses with expertise in trauma management. The department is open for patients 24 x 7. It has a facility of 18 beds, treatment room, minor and major OT complex with cardiac monitor, mobile x-ray, pulse oxymeter, defibrillator etc. Also 24 x 7 ambulance service is available for patients.

O.P.D.

The institute has residential facilities for faculty members and nursing staff located on a pollution free area in the campus with 24 hour security, water & electricity supply.

Hostel

There are two hostels in the campus separate for boys & girls with the facility of cabinets, beds, furniture, washrooms & separate dining hall for each. Also free internet facility, fully equipped gymnasium, indoor game facility are provided in each hostel.

OPERATION THEATER

The hospital has six major & two minor operation theaters for routine as well as emergency operations.

Sports Facility

There is a big sports ground in the campus where students can involve themselves in various sports like football, cricket, volley ball, badminton etc.

Transport

There is a provision for providing transport services with a fleet of luxury airconditioned buses for students and faculty members coming from places like Delhi, Noida & Hapur

Bank

Bank of Maharashtra, a nationalized bank, has given its consent to open their branch in the campus with CBS, ATM & SDV locker facilities.
