World Health Day

Department of Community Medicine, Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences celebrated World Health Day themed as “Depression: Let’s talk” on 7th April 2017. Dr P Jayakumar, Dean& Principal, Dr Ranjana Singh, Professor & Head, Community Medicine, Dr Vidya Surwade, Associate Professor, Community Medicine and Dr Amiya Bannerjee, Department of Psychiatry shared their views about various aspects of depression. On this occasion, various events were organized like Quiz, Poster making competition and Role play by 2016 batch students. Hiteshwar Singh (2014) and Prabhdeep Singh (2014) were the winners of quiz. Ms Rouble and Ms Prachi’s poster was judged the best. The programme ended with planting of new trees in SIMS’s Campus.
