The Department of Radio-Imaging and Diagnosis generates vital information for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, including cancer. This department plays a crucial role in patient management by providing accurate disease diagnoses. The Radio-Diagnosis Department at SIMS is equipped with advanced imaging facilities and a team of qualified, experienced faculty.

The department provides round-the-clock diagnostic and emergency services to cater to the needs of the rural population around Hapur city, Uttar Pradesh, at reasonable rates. Free radiological investigation services are frequently offered during health camps.

Teaching and Training

The dedicated faculty trains both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Undergraduates learn to diagnose common diseases using Conventional & Digital X-Ray and other imaging modalities. Postgraduate students gain expertise in diagnosing both common and rare diseases, with hands-on training on various imaging machines, including Doppler ultrasound and MRI.
