Smart Gram Initiative -Alipur,(Haryana) - “Doctor for you”
Under President’s Smart Gram Initiative scheme, five villages of Haryana namely Alipur, Rojka Meo, Harchandpur , Taj Nagar, and Dauhla have been adopted by the President House with an aim to develop them into smart villages.
Honorable Dr.J.Ramachandran, chairman of Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences, Hapur is thankful and obliged to the Honorable President of India and Secretary to the President Smt Omita Paul ji for providing us an opportunity to be a part of their prestigious initiative along with the NGO “For You Health Care Solutions Pvt Ltd”
On 6th April 2017, Smt Omita Paul ji inaugurated Smart Gram Clinic “Doctor for You” at village Alipur. During her inaugural speech, she interacted with the villagers and motivated them towards making their village a smart village which she defined as a high tech and happy village providing enhanced quality of life to its community.
Being the proud member of the Smart Gram initiative, A “Doctor for You” health centre at Alipur is established by Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences. Our respectable Vice Chairperson Mrs Ramya Ramchandran along with a team of qualified doctors was there to facilitate the event. The Vice Chairperson briefed the villagers about institution’s constant efforts towards improvement of community health over the years.
The centre has been staffed with a group of general practitioners, staff nurses, Lab technicians, Pharmacists and other health workers with the objectives of:
- Accessibility, Availability, Affordability and Acceptability of Health Services.
- Provision of quality, basic and essential health services.
- Enhancing Attitudes, knowledge and skills to be developed for promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative health care.
- Creating awareness and raising consciousness on health and health-related issues.
- Promoting and protecting the health of mother and child.
- Provision of essentials drugs.
- Improvement of general hygiene.
