I am Dr Prakash Chandra, Professor and HOD, Dept. Of Psychiatry.I am working at SIMS,Hapur for last 16 years.Worked as Assistant Professor,Associate Professor, and Professor.This college started in 2008 when no other option was available in this area.This college provided best health care facilities at approximately free of cost.Department of Psychiatry also growned with time and now we have 30 beds and 4 Post graduate seats/year in this department.We are the 1st in getting Psychiatry PG seats in this region.Our PG students have won gold medals for continuous years (2017 to 2023) in final University exam.OPD, ECT and other speciality clinics are available like de-addiction, Epilepsy clinic, Dementia clinic etc.
It is very unnatural to think that how one can serve so long in private sector but for us it is like family like experience.I pay my all regards to all nearby residents along with students and their parents who have made this college a prestigious institution 🙏
