Introduction

Skin is the largest organ of the body. It is also a mirror of internal diseases. Conditions ranging from inflammatory diseases, infections, malignancies and other organ – specific internal disease may manifest on the skin. A healthy skin boosts the confidence & well being of any person.

 

Curriculum

The department of SKIN & VD provides clinical services to patients and it caters for teaching activities to interns, under graduate’s & postgraduate student’s of the college.  The following are the  Research Activities under pipeline.

  • A clinico-dermatoscopic study of patients with melasma and effect of using modified kligman’s formula triple combination cream
  • Role of microneedling combined with PRP in acne scar
  • Role of intra lesional MMR vaccine along with oral zinc in cutaneous wart.

The department of SKIN & VD provides various clinical services like IPL laser, Electro cautery, Radiofrequency ablation, Vitiligo surgeries, Microdermabrasion, Chemical peeling, Cryosurgery, Hair Transplantation(FUE) etc
